»»» - - - A dark male wandered the landscape, his heavy paws hitting the ground with the rhythm of a drum beat. He moved at a trot, his dark red painted limbs moving at a medium pace. His optics flickered about his landscape as he wandered the lands, cold hard rubies glistening with the dying sunlight, lit on fire like a lightning strike. A proud creature with high stature, large and grand in size. Perhaps, too proud. Arkos held his chin high, the dirt and gravel crunching gently beneath his massive paws. He stopped for a moment, letting his claws dig into the earth, feeling it cave beneath them. He did this many a time, glancing down at the groves his long black talons were making in the ground beneath him. His lips curled into a fierce, lupine smirk as he looked back up, shadows seeming to hang in the air, floating around him.
»»» - - - He picked up on the scent, and small vibrations, the slightest, running through the ground like a shockwave towards his senses. His upper lip curled up in a low throaty snarl as he walked foreward slowly, being sure to be soft stepped and quiet, following these signs of life. His ears perked up, pointed and tipped with an elegant burn crimson as he lunged forewards into a gallop. The sound of his heavy paws reverberated through the canyon of rocks that built the mountains, hard and strong like drums, causing the pebbles that littered the ground to quiver upon the ground which was stressed by his weight.
»»» - - - The dying sunlight of the coming dusk set his coat ablaze, and it appeared as if smoke were rising from his fine dark pelt. He stopped abruptly, his chest rising and falling at an average rate, his jowles parted slightly to show off the rows of pearly whites that lay nestled within his strong maw. His black pelt glistened with a golden fire from the dying light of the sun which soon faded to a deep pink, then a red, and slowly faded away into the indigo hue of dusk. He inhaled and let out a strong, rumbling howl that shook the frailty of the weak stone around him, echoing through the silence of the fresh twilight.
»»» - - - His chest heaved with another howl that echoed through the coming night, as if the sound could reach the ethereal stars in the dark sky that slept above him. He then took off at a run, and jumped from ledge to ledge, his diamond hard talons leaving shallow grooves in the rock where ever they dug in. His limbs were strong and wrapped in muscle, able to withstand anything, thick and strong and nearly unbreakable.
»»» - - - His senses were attacked by the sudden scent of a female. A female? His ears perked up and he scurried forewards, rounding a corner of a cliff that stood tall over the barren lands of Del' Umbros. His steps were soft, the pads of his paws muffling the sound to the point that he was virtually inaudiable. He stopped only a little way away from the female, who was, well half the size of himself at least, but she had lovely golden, creamy colored fur, and she smelled so sweet, like the forest after rain. Surprisingly, he liked this scent. He noted that she had most likely been notified of his presence, due to his rumbling howl. He crept foreward a bit, and stopped shortly, his voice stern and strong.
